Five minutes can make a big difference.
If your inner voice has become a nonstop inner critic, try reframing the conversation.
Don’t say this: I can’t do this. It’s hopeless. Say that: I’ll give it my best shot.
Don’t say this: I can’t believe I messed that up. Say that: I’m human. I made a mistake, but I can fix it.
Don’t say this: This will never get better. Say that: I’ll get through this. One day at a time.
Don’t say this: I hate when this happens. Say that: I’ve handled this before. I can do it again.
